Hindalco Industries drops over 3 pct on profit booking

Shares of Hindalco Industries fell over 3 per cent on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on profit booking as shares had gained earlier backed by signs of revival in China's housing market. Reacting to the news, shares of the company dropped 3.01 per cent to Rs 88.50 a piece on BSE. Shares of the company dipped 3.12 per cent to Rs 88.45 a piece on National Stock Exchange.
Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 25,228.44, down 109.12 points, or 0.43 per cent at 11.00 hours.
